In order to activate this network-based ad blocking only to opt-in users, the platform provides users with an opt- in feature and an easily accessible channel. Users can activate or deactivate this function at any time, and can also allow specific websites to send them adverts while browsing. Carriers or companies can customize the menu on the shield button, and the button itself, which is primarily to show how many adverts are blocked on the page. For example, the platform can create a menu dynamically for the users who need an emergency loan to add to their prepaid credit immediately. With this service, users can enjoy improved web browsing and carriers can create new communication channels to monetize users’ traffic.

Use Case2: IN-BROWSER FLY-OUT MENU
SOLUTION BRIEF
Even when network-based ad blocking is not used, carriers can utilize functions to push the menu button into browsers. The new method implemented in MobiThru™ requires no maintenance of website URL whitelists for pushing campaigns into users’ browsers. With almost no impact on users’ browsing experience, this platform guarantees hundreds of times more impressions and exposures, compared to traditional in-browser notifications (IBNs). Mobile campaign management and analytics will maximize the accuracy of targeting and the effectiveness of the campaign, satisfying inventory owners and campaign owners.

THE SKOP
MobiThru™ FOR CARRIERS
The MobiThru™ platform from Access Motion empowers carriers to run add-on services on their data networks. The platform does not limit its visibility functions to the analysis of data traffic as it also enables carriers to provide multiple add-on services, all on one platform. Users will be able to enjoy enhanced web browsing experiences such as faster loading, saving data and improved web page readability with network- based ad filtering and unintrusive in-browser add-on functions. Features to detect and block harmful contents can be used for parental control; the lists of such content are updated every day by an automated detection engine that finds harmful sites.

MobiThru™ does not use in-line architecture for enforcing service policies, which are for filtering contents and inject- ing new policies, into network. While the in-line based solutions are under performance and capacity issue for avoiding impact on data service performance, the non-in-line based solution we are using is free from the matter and becomes the solution for services on carrier’s data network.

ANALYTICS
IPES inspects data traffic in order both to build a real-time user session database by parsing GTP-C or RADIUS, and to generate the users’ traffic logs by parsing HTTP and HTTPS (even encapsulated in GTP-U). With traffic log from the IPES (Injection Policy Enforcement Server), the IPCS (Injection Policy Control Server) generates analytics reports for predefined rules, apps and web sites, and generates leads for targeted marketing. To support carriers’ own profiling or analytics, the IPCS is able to forward the raw log files and the analyzed profiles to the external system.

SERVICE POLICIES ENFORCEMENT
The MobiThru™ enables carriers to manage multiple services, which need to block some traffic or to deliver new messages or responses into users’ browser, in a single platform. By default, the system provides functions for filtering of unwanted adverts, blocking of harmful content, and in-browser notifications functions, and allows accessmotion carriers to add new services associated with blocking traffic or sending new responses to users. The SPR (Subscriber Profile Reposi- tory) enables carriers to enforce service policies based on each subscriber's individual profile. No routing configura- tion on other equipment for subscriber filtering is necessary because the profiles on the SPR can be deployed to the IPCS and IPES automatically and the IPES filters out non-subscribers traffic.

CAMPAIGN MANAGEMENT
MobiThru™ is able to send off-deck menu & page while the users browse internet even if they have activated 'data saving' mode or 'ad blocking' mode on Chrome and UC Browsers.
The MobiThru™ enables carriers to create campaigns for delivering online campaigns or notifications to targeted users. The leads generated by analytics can be used as the campaigns’ target users. The ranking system and the programmatic campaign deployment mechanism prevent the waste of inventories resulting from any ineffective campaigns.
